Commitment: At least two (2) hours or more per week, with the flexibility to work in-person as needed.
Overview:
Cede Foundation is dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community engagement. We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as Youth Worker Volunteers. If you have a passion for supporting and inspiring young people, this is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the next generation.
Responsibilities:
Mentorship and Guidance:
Build positive and supportive relationships with young people.
Provide mentorship, guidance, and a listening ear to address their concerns and challenges.
Youth Programs:
Assist in planning, organizing, and facilitating youth programs and activities.
Collaborate with other volunteers to create engaging and educational experiences.
Community Outreach:
Engage with the local community and schools to promote youth programs.
Attend community events to connect with young people and their families.
Skill Development:
Assist in organizing workshops and sessions focused on skill development, career guidance, and personal growth.
In-Person Support:
Work in-person at designated locations, including the main office in Manchester and St Ignatius Centre in Salford, as needed.
Qualifications:
Genuine interest in working with young people and promoting their well-being.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Flexibility and adaptability to the evolving needs of youth programs.
Commitment:
Volunteer at least two (2) hours or more per week.
Availability to work in-person as needed, including at the designated office locations.
