St Ann’s Hospice is a charity which cares for thousands of people with life-limiting illnesses every year.
The hospice provides a free service to patients, carers and their loved ones from three sites in Greater Manchester, and a range of outreach services, supporting patients in the local community and their own homes.
Around a third of St Ann’s funding comes from the NHS, the rest from donations and the kind support of people who raise money to help patients and their families. Every penny makes a real difference to those who really need it–right when they need it most.
St Ann's Hospice are holding a bucket collection at Altrincham FC before the Altrincham v Dorking Wanderers game.
We will begin collecting around 1:30 p.m. Kick-off is at 3 p.m. and will do a short collection after the game has finished. Volunteers will have free tickets to watch the game. There is no requirement to stay and watch the game and collect after, but it would be great to have as many people as possible for the 1:30 - 3 p.m. slot.
The grounds are a 13-minute walk from the Altrincham tram stop.
