Age UK Trafford is an independent local charity. We've been working in the local community to help older people for 50 years. We have 25 dedicated staff and over 50 volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Trafford.
The Customer Contact Volunteer is a new role which involves making calls to our service users for the following:
- Wellbeing calls to older people who may be socially isolated or lonely
Undertake wellbeing calls with service users, and provide information, and signposting to both internal and external services available.
Support our service users to remain as independent as possible by providing information on a range of services and activities that may be available.
Proactively make outbound telephone calls to capture service recipients’ views, experiences and satisfaction using a questionnaire.
Record any feedback from the wellbeing calls and questionnaires to inform the line manager to take any actions as required.
Help to input and update information we hold on external organisations and services provided.
Record information on our database of any interactions and outcomes for service users.
Make follow up calls to existing service users to confirm and record details for benefit entitlement.
