A charity whose aim is to support senior members of the Didsbury community through a volunteer programme and a programme of weekly activities.
Description of role
Designed specifically for over 60s, this weekly session addresses the problems associated with physiological age changes. You will support the Chair Yoga Instructor with the following tasks:
Help set up room/chairs
Meet & Greet
Help with coats, seating ensure participants are in appropriate chair
Collect and take register and session fees
Serve water to participants
Observe participants carefully
Active participation
Help instructor with anything she needs
Help participants walk to drivers' car/taxis
Help to tidy away chairs, register etc
Volunteer support required 11.50-1.00 approx
