Organisation Description: Soul Sisters: Empowering People is a grassroots charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse. We provide emotional support, peer mentoring, and advocacy, as well as community projects that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our volunteers play a vital role in delivering one-to-one support, running creative and educational activities, and helping us organise events that raise awareness and build stronger, safer communities.

Description of role: - Assisting with the planning and organisation of events, including fundraising activities, awareness campaigns, and community outreach events.
- Helping with venue setup and coordination on the day of the event.
- Supporting the registration process for attendees and managing event logistics.
- Ensuring that materials and resources for the event are ready and available.
- Engaging with event participants, guests, and stakeholders to ensure a positive experience.
- Providing administrative support such as preparing promotional materials or handling event-related correspondence.
- Assisting with post-event evaluations, gathering feedback, and helping with thank-you notes or follow-up communications.
