Organisation Description: Soul Sisters: Empowering People is a grassroots charity supporting people affected by domestic abuse. We provide emotional support, peer mentoring, and advocacy, as well as community projects that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our volunteers play a vital role in delivering one-to-one support, running creative and educational activities, and helping us organise events that raise awareness and build stronger, safer communities.

Description of role: - Facilitating or co-facilitating peer support group sessions.
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment for participants.
- Offering emotional support and encouragement to individuals during group sessions.
- Encouraging participants to share their experiences, building confidence and resilience.
- Recognising and escalating any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate team member.
- Providing feedback to the Soul Sisters team to help improve the peer support program
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental environment for participants.
