Description of role: Join us for the first week of The Green Wellbeing Project on the Wednesday 7th October.
We will be running wellbeing focused gardening sessions right in the heart of Fallowfield. These weekly session will run every Wednesday until Christmas, starting back up again for Semester Two.
The sessions will run from 11:00am to 1:00pm in a small, friendly group.
This session we will repotting, making compost and making labels for succulents.
You don't need to bring anything with you, except a bottle for water. Please wear warm clothing, a coat and shoes that you don't mind getting slightly dirty.
If you feel as though the Green Wellbeing project could benefit you or if you would like to know more - please feel free to contact Amelia (amelia.hart@manchester.ac.uk). I can email, meet for a chat or have a phone call before you come along to the sessions if this would be helpful for you.
Please note, this project is not supposed to be for everybody - it is designed for students who might need a little extra support or who are looking for ways in which to improve their wellbeing. If you're not sure if this is for you, you are more than welcome to get in touch to find out more.
