The Role
As an Admin and Operations Volunteer, you will provide support with the everyday tasks that help our office, programmes and activities run smoothly.
Task will vary depending on current priorities. You may support different members of the team, but your tasks and responsibilities will be explained and agreed with you in advance.
What you could be involved in
- Administration: Assisting with data entry, filing and maintaining accurate records.
- Programme coordination: Supporting arrangements for activities, sessions and events.
- Documents and materials: Preparing forms, schedules, registers and resources for sessions.
- Scheduling: Updating calendars, organising timetables and assisting with general coordination.
- Resources: Organising programme materials, equipment and office supplies.
- Communication: Preparing routine emails and sharing agreed information with volunteers, participants and other contacts
- Day-to-day operations: Providing practical and administrative assistance across all programmes.
Skills and qualities
No previous experience is required. We’re looking for friendly, organised and reliable people who are comfortable with basic admin tasks, communicate clearly, and can work effectively as part of a team.

Time commitment
Around 4–8 hours per week. We ask volunteers to attend at least one regular four-hour session on an agreed weekday.
Sessions take place during our office hours, Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. The regular day and time will be agreed based on your availability and our current needs.
There may occasionally be opportunities to provide support at activities or community venues. These will be discussed with you in advance.
