Organisation Description: Ladybarn Community Hub is a community centre in the heart of Fallowfield. We offer activities, events and community spaces for all, from our older people's lunch club and LGBT+ coffee morning to activities like tai chi and Wellbeing Wednesday arts and crafts. We also have a nature-forward garden with swift boxes, wildflower meadow and community chickens!
Description of role: Ladybarn Community Hub run weekly Wellbeing Wednesday arts and crafts sessions with Mary, our art facilitator. These sessions are open to everyone in the community and are particularly popular with disabled adults and their carers. We are looking for volunteers to help with this activity and support it on a weekly basis.

The Wellbeing Wednesday runs from 11am – 1pm on Wednesdays. Volunteers are needed from 10.45 – 1.15pm to: help set up the tea trolley, discuss and prepare simple craft projects (under Mary’s guidance), chat to attendees, serve tea/coffee, make people feel welcome, and clear up afterwards.

Ladybarn Community Hub is a five-minute walk from the Friendship pub, with easy access from the 143, 142 and 50 bus routes.
