Organisation Description: Levenshulme Inspire is a community-led organisation which brings together people from many backgrounds to transform our area through community activity, creativity, enterprise and fun. Examples of groups are our parent led groups such as local vocals, chat and play, tots tales and story time, our workshops such as fix it up aiming to provide new skills and our partnerships with the Taskforce which supports sessions for the elderly. All our groups are aimed at bringing together specific demographics among the community for connection, well-being and supporting those most vulnerable in society.
Description of role: We are looking for volunteers to help set up on the Friday before it on the 11th September and do some clothes sorting and also on the day to help steward and stamp postcards and help the community with their clothes swapping. We also need them to help pack down the event. Travel expenses will be included and a DBS is not compulsory.
