Organisation Description: The Lighthouse Charity provides 24/7 holistic support to the UK and Ireland construction community on all aspects of emotional, physical and financial wellbeing. We offer a free and confidential helpline, live web chat service and text facility which provides a range of information, guidance and support on a huge variety of wellbeing issues.
Description of role: As a Client Services Helpline Volunteer, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of our services. Working within a compassionate and inclusive environment, you’ll help provide high quality, person centred support to individuals seeking guidance, information, or reassurance.

This role involves:
• Supporting callers on our helpline
• Recording information accurately
• Signposting to relevant partner services
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment

We ideally ask for a commitment of one 4 hour shift per week, although we do appreciate that this may not always fit around everyone’s circumstances.

Training:
Initial e-learning modules are required followed by a week long virtual classroom based training session.

This is a remote volunteering position.
