Description of role: Join us this summer to support our free weekly Parktastic sessions for children and families in Alexandra Park.
Parktastic offers children opportunities to spend time outdoors, be active, and enjoy games, crafts, and other activities in their local park. We are seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to support our team and help ensure the sessions are welcoming, enjoyable, and inclusive.
What you will be doing
The activities will vary from week to week. You may be helping to:
• Set up and pack away equipment
• Support games, sports and creative activities
• Welcome children and families to the sessions
• Encourage children to join in and try different activities
• Help the team keep the sessions running smoothly
• Create a friendly and positive atmosphere in the park
Skills and experience
No previous experience is required. This role is ideal for someone approachable, patient, and willing to participate. You should be comfortable working in a team and engaging in outdoor activities.
