Thousands of people take part in our events every year so we can continue beating cancer. And our event volunteers make it all possible.
Whether you're handing out medals at Race for Life or guiding participants around a Big Hike course, event volunteering is a fun way to get involved. Sign up as a group or go solo and meet like-minded people on the day.

What our event volunteers do.
We have many volunteering roles on offer at our events. You will get a full briefing when you arrive, so you feel confident and ready to get stuck in. Depending on the event you could be:
Cheering on participants around the course
Handing out medals at the finish line
Supporting and signposting participants

Race for Life
Be part of something special at Race for Life, our biggest series of fundraising events. With lots of roles available, get ready for an amazing atmosphere and a fun-packed day.

Pretty Muddy
Our Pretty Muddy events are great fun for volunteers. Help our participants as they climb over, crawl under and charge through a muddy obstacle course.

Big Hike
Enjoy incredible views while helping participants take on a 10k, half or full marathon hiking challenge. Our Big Hike events take place at some of the country's most scenic locations.

Challenges and Marathon
Join us for a great day supporting our runners at events like the Royal Parks Half Marathon. Bring your passion and energy and you'll make a huge difference to those taking part.

Shine Night Walk
Be a beacon in the dark at our series of night-time walking events. With lots of roles available, you'll help create an unforgettable night for participants.
