Description of role: Dragons Voice is recruiting Mandarin speakers to help broadcast monthly radio shows in Mandarin from community radio studios based in Levenshulme. It is easily accessible by the 192 bus or train to Levenshulme railway station and we provide travel expenses at public transport rate. We will provide the training and other opportunities to contribute to the local Chinese community within Greater Manchester. We are a Community Interest Company (CIC) which provides a voice for the Chinese community.
Volunteers can learn and help us:
produce 1 hour long radio shows in Mandarin, edit and upload onto Mixcloud.com
deliver traditional Chinese creative art sessions
organise and take part in our annual Chinese New Year event
To volunteer with us you have to be a fluent Mandarin speaker, have basic IT skills and is keen to support the local Chinese community
