We run Learn Media, a project helping people gain digital and communication skills through hands-on media work — filming, podcasting, and creating community stories.

Description of role: This volunteer role involves working as an on-camera presenter for Together Media, a project by Learn Together CIC, creating both short-form and long-form news and explainer content focused on current topics and social issues.
You will be involved in presenting clear, structured summaries of news stories, contributing to content ideas, and recording on-camera segments using a phone or basic setup. Content is developed collaboratively, with support provided for scripting, structure, and delivery.
Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in media production, including presenting, storytelling, and digital content creation. You will also receive guidance on video editing, branding, and building your own independent content creator platforms, as well as developing a professional portfolio of published work.
This is a flexible, remote role suited to individuals interested in media, communication, journalism, or content creation, and those looking to build confidence and practical experience in a supportive environment.
