š£Volunteer Day: Create Easter Decorations for a Family Centreš£- Tuesday 24 March
Organisation Details
University of Manchester Volunteering & Awards Team
Sub theme: Children, Youth Work and Young People
Description of role: Join us for a heartwarming craft session to support Cheeky Monkeys, a toddler group run by the Family Centre, a non-profit dedicated to helping little ones build imagination and social skills and enjoy quality playtime with their carers.
š£ What will I be doing?
Weāll be handmaking Easter decorations to help Cheeky Monkeys decorate their space. No crafting experience needed - just bring your enthusiasm. We will provide a range of crafting supplies and some inspiration for Easter themed crafts. Come along, get creative, and make a difference!
If you are looking for an extra few hours, I am also looking for a few volunteers to help me transport the decorations to Cheeky Monkeys on Monday 30 March, in the afternoon. This is expected to take around 2 hours, including travel. If you are interested in doing this, please let me know at beth.carson@manchester.ac.uk.
š£ When and where?
This Volunteer Day will be happening on Tuesday 24 March, from 1-3pm in room 3.009, James Chadwick Building.
š£What to bring:
No need to bring anything, except perhaps a water bottle and some snacks. However, you are welcome to bring your own craft stuff if there's anything you'd like to make or use!
Your help will bring Easter joy to the children of Cheeky Monkeys. Expect lots of fun, laughter, and Easter spirit! Sign up now, if you have any questions please contact beth.carson@manchester.ac.uk
