Organisation Description: The MS Society is the UK’s largest national charity dedicated towards stopping Multiple Sclerosis, a neurological condition which affects over 100,000 individuals in the UK. We are looking for volunteers to join our team of MS Superstar supporting everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS at MS Walk Manchester. You will be part of an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2022 bigger and better than ever.
Description of role: As a Fundraising Events Volunteer, you’ll be helping to deliver our annual MS Walk Manchester event.
This role is a great opportunity to build your communication, organisation and teamwork skills while making a real difference.
By joining our team, you’ll be supporting our MS community who will be walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS. You’ll work alongside an incredible group of volunteers, helping to guide participants along the route, cheer people over the finish line, and hand out water and medals to our amazing supporters.
The MS Walk is one of our flagship events and has taken place across the UK for over 10 years. It brings communities together and creates an unforgettable atmosphere on the day.
