Organisation Details

Marie Curie

Sub theme: Hospitals and Hospices
Stellify Award: This opportunity is part of 'Make a Difference'
Organisation Description: Marie Curie provides a better end of life for more people, whatever the illness. We’re here for anyone living with any illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. We provide free palliative and end of life care, information and support. We campaign for more people to have a better end of life and fund palliative care research.
Description of role: We are looking for volunteers to give us just a couple of hours of their time to support our supermarket collections at Morrisons stores during our 'Great Daffodil Appeal'.

The money raised will go towards supporting all the great work Marie Curie does, from our free support line, to the nurses throughout Greater Manchester, as they go into the homes of terminally ill patients to support them.

We currently have two collection dates confirmed at the Grafton Street Morrisons store in Manchester, but may add more depending on how much support there is for it.

You can also have a look yourself at the other collection sites and book yourself on by following this link: https://collect.mariecurie.org.uk/

For more information on how you can support us or get involved, contact your local Community Fundraiser, James, on 07515135013, or at james.finn@mariecurie.org.uk
