Description of role: Moonlit Miles is a collaboration between Manchester City Council and Slow Run Club focused on raising awareness about women and girls’ safety within parks. It is taking place in Platt Fields with laps of a 3km route around the park wearing lights and glow in the dark clothing. It will also be an opportunity to network with local running clubs.

Volunteer support will be essential to help this event run safely and smoothly. We will require:
• Route marshals
• Volunteers to welcome people to the park and check tickets
• Volunteers to see attendees out of the park
Volunteers will have an opportunity to run the route in the first couple of waves if they wish to.
