Description of role: Are you a university student passionate about inspiring the next generation? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to take part in an Aspirations Workshop at Medlock Primary School!
💡 What will you be doing?
You’ll deliver a short, interactive session designed for primary school pupils, where you will:
• Share your university experience and subject of study
• Inspire young learners by talking about your academic journey
• Spark curiosity and help pupils explore the exciting possibilities for their future
💡 Why get involved?
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
• Build confidence in public speaking and communication
• Gain valuable experience working with and engaging young people
You can present individually or as part of a small group of 2–3 students. If you are applying as a group, please be sure to indicate this in your application.
Your total volunteering commitment is expected to be 5 hours, which includes both preparation and delivery time.
Successful applicants will receive a confirmation email with further details. The workshops will take place during the week commencing 26 January. The exact date will be confirmed at a later date, as it is dependent on teacher availability.
