Organisation Description: Venture Café Manchester is an innovation ecosystem activator. We believe isolation is the enemy of innovation. Our mission is to connect innovators and help ideas become reality through an open network of spaces and programmes. As a nonprofit organisation operating in more than 20 cities worldwide, we are building a global community where innovation thrives.
Description of role: At Venture Café Manchester, we host Thursday Gatherings for our community from 17:00 to 20:00. As we only launched last month, we’ll be hosting Thursday Gatherings once a month for now, progressing to a weekly schedule from Q2 2026.
Each gathering focuses on a different theme (e.g. health innovation, AI & cyber, creative tech, graphene, etc.). Our main audience includes start-up founders, academics and researchers, investors, and anyone involved in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
We’re looking for ambassadors to support us with operations and logistics during the event, and who are available from 16:00 to 20:00 on any of the following dates:

15 January 2026
12 February 2026
19 March 2026
