Description of role: This project is led by the Manchester Paediatric Dentistry Student Society (MPDSS) in collaboration with the Manchester Student Union.
The main aim of our project is to educate parents about oral health during pregnancy and also about the oral health of their infant. During our sessions, we will be giving presentations to expectant parents. We will use props to help demonstrate some of our points. At the end of each session, we will be giving out goodie bags to attendees.
Sessions will take place in Greater Manchester. Volunteers will typically meet the HIPPOH team at the University Dental Hospital, where we will then get a taxi to the volunteering location.
