Description of role: Why not take a short break from the library and come join us in Ladybarn Park on Thursday 13th November from 1:30pm until 3:30pm for a day of gardening!
We will be working alongside a community group, Friends of Ladybarn Park, to make sure the park is looking tidy and to create a pleasant environment for everyone who uses the space.
This is a great opportunity to get outside as the winter weather is fast-approaching and give back to the local community. Our tasks would include planting bulbs, clearing leaves and litter picking!
Key info
- We will be meeting at Ladybarn Park from 1:15pm onwards.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear clothes/shoes you don't mind getting a little dirty or wet.
There's no need to be an expert gardener to join us at Ladybarn Park - just bring a lot of enthusiasm with you! We can't wait to see you and have a wholesome, outdoor day.
