Organisation Description: ROLDA UK is a registered charity that raises funds and awareness of the awful plight of the thousands of stray cats and dogs in Romania and the Ukraine. These funds are then used to rescue, provide veterinary care, look after and eventually rehome these innocent animals.
Description of role: We are looking to recruit volunteers to raise funds and awareness for ROLDA UK
If you love animals and are confident and outgoing, please can you join us and recruit a small fundraising team to organise some fun events.
The type of fundraising events you may wish to arrange can be
- cake sales
- sponsored events ie. runs, walks, football tournaments etc
- charity nights
- quiz nights
- themed parties
- stream gaming fundraisers
- use your social media reach to raise awareness of ROLDA
- approach local companies to see if they will donate or partner with ROLDA
- or any other creative idea you can come up with!!
You will be fully supported by our fundraising team whilst gaining excellent fundraising, project management and communication skills, which will enhance your c.v. Any expenses you incur during your fundraising efforts will be promptly refunded.
Volunteers can work as much or as little as you wish, to fit in with your studies. It's an ideal opportunity to connect with other students, engage with the local community, share with your social media reach etc. whilst raising money to enable ROLDA to help the stray animal situation in Romania and Ukraine.
