Description of role: - About the Organisation 💛
Ladybarn Community Hub is a thriving community centre in the heart of Ladybarn, and we run a variety of groups such as coffee mornings, choirs and over 50s lunch clubs as well as hosting other organisations like youth groups and churches and offering venue hire for the local community. Volunteers are an integral part of the service, helping to run sessions, connect with group members, and spread the word about the service.
- What will I be doing? 💛
We will be hosting Volunteer day on Thursday 23 October at our Thursday lunch group. At our Thursday group we set up our hall and turn it into a comfortable and friendly space for over 55s in the local community. They come and have a hot meal and play bingo. We are looking for volunteers to help set up, serve food and hot drinks and be on hand to help throughout the day. We will then be going into our local community and doing a newsletter drop through people’s letterboxes to deliver our latest newsletter to local residents.
- When is the Volunteer Day? 💛
We will be volunteering from 10.30am to 2:30pm at Ladybarn Community Hub Royle St, Manchester M14 6RN.

Everyone who volunteers for the full 4 hours will receive a free dinner and pudding. *If you have any dietary requirements please let us know by replying to your confirmation email as soon as possible. If you do not let us know beforehand we will not be able to provide you with a lunch that has your dietary requirements.*
