Description of role: Why We Want You:
Join Macmillan’s Action Team and help make our fundraising events unforgettable! Whether it’s marathons, festivals, or black-tie evenings, your enthusiasm and teamwork will help us raise vital funds to support people living with cancer.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting events (e.g. marshalling, set-up, finish line support)
- Collecting donations and engaging with the public
- Sharing information about Macmillan’s services
- Writing good luck and thank-you cards to fundraisers
- Taking part in other ad-hoc activities as needed
Skills You’ll Need:
- Teamwork and communication skills
- A friendly and approachable attitude
- Willingness to get involved and have fun!
