Organisation Description: Read Manchester is a partnership between the National Literacy Trust and Manchester City Council to raise literacy levels and change the life stories of children, young people and adults across the city.

Description of role: Gorton Library Storytime's for pre-school children attracts between 50-90 families a week to listen to stories, songs and music. They are currently looking for someone who could go along and help with welcoming families, directing them to the storytelling area and generally assisting the outreach worker to deliver the session. They are ideally looking for someone who could attend weekly, the session is Thursday 10.15am-11.00am.
