Retail Volunteer - Multiple Locations Available

Organisation Details

RSPCA Manchester and Salford Branch
Sub theme: Animals
Stellify Award: This opportunity is part of 'Make a Difference'
Organisation Description: At the RSPCA Manchester & Salford, we are a small team doing big work. We focus on caring for cats, rabbits and 'smalls' like guinea pigs and hamsters.
We support the National Inspectorate, who rescue animals from varying degrees of neglect and cruelty. We provide these animals with a temporary home in our centre where they receive all the compassion and care they need to recover from their past. When the time is right, the search for their new home begins with their individual needs prioritised.
We strive to improve the lives of the animals we look after, whilst also helping our local community to do the same. We support 7 local foodbanks with pet food, as well as providing Drop In clinics where pets and their owners can receive grooming help and advice.
As we are a self funded charity, our work is only possible due to the kindness of our supporters. Our 5 shops are our biggest source of funds, meaning our Retail Volunteers are vital in helping change the lives of animals in need.
