The Carbon Literacy Project is globally unique – there is nothing else quite like it anywhere. It was recognised as such by the UN at COP21, in Paris, where it was awarded as a TAP100, one of 100 worldwide Transformative Action Programs.

Description of role: Join Our Certification Team as a Volunteer
Our volunteers begin their journey within the Certification Team where they play a vital role in supporting our mission. By helping to certify the thousands of Carbon Literacy actions we receive each year, you’ll be making a direct and positive impact in the fight against the climate crisis.
This role offers a unique insight into how the Carbon Literacy Project
operates and how we drive meaningful change. As part of the team, you’ll connect with colleagues across the organisation and contribute to a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
We’re committed to recognising your skills and interests, and we’ll ensure they’re shared with the wider team. This opens up opportunities to take on additional responsibilities over time, depending on your availability and aspirations.
Many of our current employees began as volunteers—making this an excellent stepping stone for deeper involvement with the Project.
