Organisation Description: Social Care Provider
Description of role: Are you creative, compassionate, and eager to make a difference in the lives of older people? Join us as an Activities Volunteer and help bring joy, connection, and stimulation to our service users with additional support needs.
What You’ll Do
• Collaborate with service users to design a programme of engaging activities
• Plan and prepare sessions in advance, ensuring materials and equipment are ready
• Facilitate activities such as: Board games, Arts and crafts, Music and quizzes, Bingo and more
• Promote sessions and encourage participation
• Make refreshments and ensure the space is clean and tidy afterward
• Report any safeguarding concerns to staff
• Attend regular supervision and complete provided training

• Good communication and organisational skills
• Reliability and a friendly, inclusive attitude
• Willingness to follow policies and procedures

Location: Across five supported living services in Tameside
Hours: Flexible to suit your availability
