Organisation Description: EQUAL EDUCATION CHANCES engage, educate and empower children and young people living with disabilities in Greater Manchester to develop skills.
EEC is an active member of GREATER MANCHESTER YOUTH FORUM.
This gives opportunities for youth to be part of decision making locally and national.
EEC Runs the Youth holiday club and adults wellbeing and empowerment programme.
We also offer advice and information to parents with children living with disabilities
Our volunteers are super excited to offer support to our community
Description of role: University student volunteers will assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of programs, workshops, and events. They will support children, young people, and families during activities, ensuring that everyone feels included and able to participate. Volunteers will also be involved in preparing and organising resources and activity spaces, as well as helping to collect feedback from participants. In addition, they are expected to represent the organization positively both within the community.
