Organisation Description: The Volunteering Outreach in Science and Engineering (VOISE) Society is dedicated to making STEM accessible, exciting, and inclusive. We run interactive workshops in schools and community groups, with a strong focus on supporting young minds from Widening Participation backgrounds. In addition, our society runs academic competitions, industry talks, and STEM symposiums that provide the opportunity to put your degree knowledge into practice. Through creative, hands-on activities, we aim to spark curiosity, build confidence, and show how science and engineering connect to real life.
Being a part of VOISE isn't just about outreach - it's also about growth. Our volunteers develop valuable skills in teamwork, communication, leadership, and project management, all while meeting like-minded peers and enjoying a supportive community. These experiences not only make a positive impact on local students but also enhance employability and personal development of our members.
Join VOISE today to inspire young minds, gain new skills, and be part of a society that truly makes a difference!
