Organisation Description: Afrocats is a Black and female-led charity. We work closely with the communities and people who access our projects to create inspiring experiences and opportunities.

Description of role: ● Shadow Project Producers, if and when needed, on particular tasks. Follow instruction to ensure smooth coordination and management of workshops.
● Liaise participants to ensure sign-in sheets are completed.
● Write news items for our blog.
● Problem-solve with team members, as and when needed.
● Be conversant about Afrocats and our work.
● Be up to date with our policies.
● Learn about, and adhere to, our risk assessment process.
● Ensure that feedback and data from participants is collected.
● Arrive at the time specified by the Project Producer before each session.
● Write a short reports of activities, with feedback from participants and artists, in line with
our evaluation framework.
● Take session photos and upload them to the shared drive.
● Set the space for the workshop and clean afterwards.
● Register participants, co-ordinate bus fares and upload receipts.
● Upload social media stories for sessions, if needed.
● Any other administrative duties that ensure the smooth running of Afrocats as an
organisation.
Travel expenses will be provided to volunteers within Greater Manchester upon providing a valid travel receipt. (More information on our volunteer handbook)
