Organisation Description: Tutor The Nation is a charity that makes education fairer, one tutoring session at a time. We pair dedicated volunteers with disadvantaged state school pupils to provide free, online tuition with the aim of helping tutees to develop the skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals.
Description of role: Are you a UK-based university student, recent graduate, or experienced tutor with a passion for sharing knowledge? Join us at Tutor The Nation and help make a positive impact on students' lives!
Who We Are:
Tutor The Nation is a charity working to help disadvantaged pupils develop the confidence and skills they need to achieve their goals through 1 hour a week of free 1-to-1, online tutoring delivered by passionate volunteers at both GCSE and A-Level. Weβre making education fairer, one tutoring session at a time.
Who We're Looking For:
π‘ Subject Enthusiasts - Across all subject areas at GCSE and A-Level
π€ Empathetic Tutors - Bring your compassion and patience to guide your pupil
π°οΈ Commitment - Just 1 hour per week for a minimum of 10 weeks (a state school term)
π± Encouraging - Foster a positive attitude towards learning and tutoring
