Organisation Description: We are REIGN Collective, a completely survivor-led organisation based in Manchester, committed to transforming how society and systems respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSA/E). Through campaigning, training, and consultancy, we place lived experience at the heart of everything we do to drive meaningful, trauma-informed change.
We work across a wide range of sectors, including health, social care, education, and the justice system, helping professionals understand how to better support children affected by abuse. Our survivor-led training offers a rare and honest insight into how abuse actually unfolds in a child’s life, something professionals often don’t get the chance to see or hear.

By sharing our lived experience, we equip professionals with the knowledge, confidence, and tools they need to offer safer, more compassionate, and more effective support to children still facing this crime today.

This September, we are launching the I Will REIGN Youth Board, a space for young people aged 16–22 with lived experience of CSA/E to use their voices to shape REIGN’s work and lead real change. The Youth Board will explore key issues affecting young survivors, starting with a creative, trauma-informed social media programme. Members will co-create campaigns, build digital and storytelling skills, gain AQA Unit Awards, and be supported in a safe, youth-led environment that values their insight and leadership.
Description of role: The I Will REIGN Youth Board offers a unique and empowering opportunity for young survivors of child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSE/A), aged 16 to 22, to use their lived experience to influence real change within REIGN and beyond. This youth-led space prioritises trust, safety, and empowerment, ensuring young people’s voices directly shape our organisation’s policies, campaigns, and professional training.

The Youth Board will focus on a series of important topics related to CSE/A that affect young people’s lives, providing a platform to explore, discuss, and co-create solutions. The first focus topic will be social media, starting September 17th, with sessions taking place every Wednesday evening, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm for eight weeks.
