Description of role: Distribution of marketing materials (posters and flyers) to local businesses in Manchester City Centre, promoting The Christie Charity Tower Run fundraising event.
They will need to go into public facing businesses and ask to display flyers/posters promoting the event, distributing them when permitted.
Materials can be collected from The Christie Charity in Withington, easily accessed by any 42/142 busses, or by tram, nearest tram stops are Burton Road or West Didsbury. Areas to promote are Manchester City centre, Oxford Road, Peter Street, Deansgate, Arndale, Northern Quarter etc. Ideally volunteering will be done in one day by a group, so areas that have been hit are not repeated.
