Description of role: The role involves working with classrooms from our College and supporting the class to go swimming. As a volunteer, you'll receive training in pool safety training and will get in the water with Students and staff to assist in supporting, engaging our young people and assisting by being a person in the pool in terms of staff ratio's etc. It's a good role if you are wanting experience of working with young people with complex learning needs and to develop your confidence, knowledge and communication skills. This session occurs every Monday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
