Role description
We’re looking for 6 enthusiastic volunteers to help run Styling Challenge, a free, vibrant event promoting sustainable practice, campaigning for Second Hand September at the Oxfam Superstore, in Manchester. The event features creative workshops, a sustainable styling competition, and community engagement activities.

Volunteers will support with:
Welcoming and guiding attendees
Assisting at workshop and activity stations
Helping set up and pack down event spaces
Promoting sustainable fashion and Oxfam’s mission throughout the day

You’ll be working closely with Oxfam staff, community partners, and members of the public in a dynamic, fun environment.

This is a short-term opportunity taking place on:
Saturday 27 of September 2025
10:00 AM – 6 PM (includes prep and wrap-up time)

1 hour online full briefing will be provided before the event. The briefing will take place on Friday 26th of September at 2pm online. Calendar invite will be shared once volunteers confirmed.

Getting there
The event takes place at the Oxfam Superstore, The Fort Retail Park, Cheetham Hill Road, Manchester M8 8EP.
Buses 41, 135, and 52 stop nearby, and it’s a 10–15 minute walk from Manchester Fort Shopping Park.
