• At MRSN, we help refugees and asylum seekers to get the basic support they need to live again with dignity. Then we help them build safe, happy and productive lives in the UK.
Description of role: We have had a volunteering role open up on Tuesdays for support during our immigration appointments session.

On Tuesdays, we support refugees, asylum seekers, irregular migrants and countless people from Manchester's immigrant community to make essential and often life changing immigration applications. These include citizenship applications, child citizenship applications, fee waiver applications for future child citizenship applications, fee waiver applications for future complex family life applications, and you could even support with complex family life applications yourself (while being supervised) once you have gained enough knowledge and experience. As MRSN is a partner oprganisation of Refugee Action's Frontline Immigration Advice Project (https://www.refugee-action.org.uk/project/frontline-immigration-advice-project/) there is also the opportunity to receive free OISC/IAA training and sit exams to be registered at Level 1 and 2 in Immigration/Asylum.
