Audio (music project) Project Leader

Organisation Details

Audio

Sub theme: Children, Education
Description of role: Audio Project Leader

Do you have a passion for music? Do you enjoy working with primary school age children?

For the past 2 years audio has been working in collaboration with Birchfields Primary School, teaching music theory to Year 5 students (most of whom are on pupil premium). This has been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught the pupils about higher education, and made further music studies seem like a real possibility!

This year, Audio was Highly Commended at the University's Volunteer of the Year Awards for our work helping Birchfields Primary School.

We are looking for a project leader to take over Audio for the 25/26 year as our two leaders are graduating! We have loved leading this project and would love for it to continue.

This role is ideal for someone with skills/ interest in:

Primary education
Music Theory
Working with children
People Management
Administration skills
Creative skills
Someone with a passion to make a difference!
