Organisation Description: The Working Class Movement Library is a radical library founded by working class activists, Ruth and Eddie Frow. We provide access to our collections and events to encourage working people to learn from and interpret their history. We are a charitable trust and work with the support of volunteers to help us to achieve our mission. Our library and archive collection includes books, pamphlets, posters, photographs, banners and other memorabilia that tell the story of working class struggle and campaigning.
Description of role: Front desk volunteers provide a warm welcome to visitors, offering information about exhibits, events, and membership. They assist with reading room visitors, answer inquiries, and ensure a positive visitor experience. This role involves good communication skills and an interest in working class history.
