Organisation Description: Helping advance education in Greater Manchester in the art of photography and filming, focused on the outdoors, particularly amongst young people
Description of role: ✋Calling all Volunteers!✋
Were looking for a group of enthusiastic Volunteers to help deliver our outdoor sessions as well as shadow our Trustees to assist in running the Charity. Mainly, you will be helping set up and deliver our sessions which may include:
- Preparing the electronic tablets and cameras
- Helping preparing the room/outdoor space
- Giving advice on how to use the cameras basic settings such as Aperture/Shutter/manual mode. Also, giving tips on how to get the best shots.
- Helping the attendees meet certain milestones regarding use of the cameras and using the editing software.
- Monitoring all health and safety requirements
- Assisting to pack away all the equipment once the session has finished.
Also, any expenses during our outdoor sessions will be covered. You would also be require to carry out a DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) check as a lot of our sessions involve working with Young People.
