Organisation Description: The MS Society is the UK’s largest national charity dedicated towards stopping Multiple Sclerosis, a neurological condition which affects over 100,000 individuals in the UK. We are looking for volunteers to join our team of MS Superstar supporting everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS at MS Walk Manchester. You will be part of an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to make MS Walk 2022 bigger and better than ever.
Description of role: MS Walk Manchester is back again and will start and finish in the beating heart of Manchester city centre. With 1, 5 or 10km routes to choose from, there is something for everyone. Not only does the walk see the famous sights and quintessential Mancunian landmarks found throughout the city, it also explores the hidden alleys and quiet waterside walkways less traveled.
Join our team of MS Superstar volunteers and support everyone who is walking, rolling and strolling to stop MS. You will be part of an incredible team of volunteers who will be helping to guide participants along the route, cheering people across the finish line or by handing out water and medals to our amazing supporters.
The walk is one of our flagship events which we’ve run across the UK for over 10 years – it builds community and there is an amazing atmosphere on the day.
