Description of role: You'll be volunteering alongside our staff team to delivery inclusive cycling sessions at our 'Learn to Ride' cycle track and our 3 off road cycle progression routes.
It involves encouraging children and young people with a range of needs and abilities to cycle, enjoy cycling, progress and develop their cycling capabilities utilising our large range of inclusive cycles.
The role involves:
• To work as part of the Seashell Active team to encourage and activate activity with children and young people with a range of needs and abilities.
• Participate in the activity, encourage children and young people to be active, build rapport, create the adaptation and modifications required to take part, have fun and explore taking part together, learning new skills.
• Work alongside session leads, team leaders, CADS Crew staff to support the sessions, take initiative and be a good team player.
• To work safely, inclusively and in person centred ways to support the children and young people’s participation, valuing individuality, choice, identity and culture.
