Organisation Description: We are looking for students who would like to help our small group of lively young children (6-12) learn how to play chess and have fun.
Description of role: This is a Junior Chess Club for children that want to learn how to play Chess. We meet weekly during term time at the MMU Brooks Building. We run beginner group training (using Chess in Schools & Communities training material). If you wish to learn this would be the ideal spot to help out & learn. If you are already a player then you would be welcome to assist with our Novice players in improving their opening, middle & end game skills. You will be guided and assisted by one of the top chess players in Manchester.
