Description of role: Project Summary:
The FunFeet4FOP campaign has been running for many years, but now needs new life injecting into it!
The FunFeet4FOP Campaign Content and Video Creator will be responsible for creating engaging and shareable content and videos to promote our annual campaign on social media. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video production techniques, experience with social media platforms, and a passion for creating visually appealing content.
After an initial meeting, some of this role could be carried out virtually.
Ideal for a team of two volunteers to partner on this project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop a creative concept for a video or series of videos that effectively promote the FunFeet4FOP campaign.
• Generate ideas for content which can be filmed by our families. Assist with direction (virtually) and editing to generate engaging stories featuring individuals with FOP and their families and friends.
• Incorporate engaging visuals, music, and storytelling techniques to create compelling content.
• Optimise videos for social media platforms, including TikTok, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the videos align with our organisation's branding and messaging.
Qualifications:
• Strong video production skills, including filming, editing, and sound design
• Experience with social media platforms, particularly TikTok
• Creative and innovative mindset
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for disability advocacy and social justice
Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Understanding of social media trends and best practices
• Ability to tell compelling stories through video
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
