Description of role: Placement Summary:
The Fundraising Pack Update Volunteer will be responsible for revitalising our fundraising pack to make it more effective and engaging. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and communication skills, a creative mindset, and a passion for social causes.
After an initial meeting, some of this role could be carried out virtually.
Ideal for a team of two volunteers to partner on this project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse Existing Packs: Carefully review our current fundraising pack and those offered by other small charities. Identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
• Develop a Proposal: Create a detailed proposal outlining recommendations for the refreshed pack, including content, design, and distribution strategies.
• Write Engaging Content: Develop compelling copy that effectively communicates our mission, impact, and fundraising needs.
• Source Relevant Images: Gather high-quality images that enhance the visual appeal of the pack, through stock images, past images from the charity’s portfolio, and approach the community if required.
• Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with our graphic designer and other team members to ensure the final product aligns with our organisation's branding and goals.
