Description of role: The Website Content Reviewer and Updater will assist the trustee to ensure that our website content is accurate, up-to-date, and informative. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong writing skills, and a passion for providing valuable resources to our community.
After an initial meeting, some of this role could be carried out virtually.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review existing website content to identify areas for improvement.
• Check and update links to ensure they are functional and accurate.
• Develop new content to enhance the information offered on the website.
• Research and analyse websites from other charities and health organisations to identify best practices.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency and coherence across the website.
Proficiencies:
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Ability to research and gather information
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
• Knowledge of SEO principles (preferred)
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience with design tools like Canva (desirable)
