Description of role: We have a project along the Medlock Valley from Oldham into Manchester City Centre where we are managing the landscape for species protection and community accessibility. We have practical volunteer sessions removing invasive species, opening up footpaths and woodland management (among others). We are also hosting community events where we need help setting up, liaising with the community and helping to monitor our impact. Finally, we have research project opportunities to research the human and physical aspects of the Medlock valley. Come and learn new skills, meet new people and discover more about Greater Manchester!
