Organisation Description: A group of health school students who offer tailored e-mentoring offering structured help to college students applying to Medicine and other health subjects.
Description of role: As a mentor with MedReach, you will play a vital role in supporting sixth form students from underrepresented backgrounds who are interested in pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. Your main responsibility will be to provide 1:1 guidance and support through our online messaging platform, helping students navigate the application process and overcome any challenges they may face.

Your duties will include:
- Offering advice on personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews
- Sharing your experiences and knowledge about your chosen career path
- Helping students build confidence and develop essential skills for their applications
- Encouraging and motivating students to stay committed to their goals

In addition to online mentoring, there will be opportunities to get involved in in-person events, including acting as examiners for mock MMIs (Multiple Mini Interviews) and visiting schools to provide guidance and share your experiences directly with students.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of aspiring healthcare professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping to promote greater diversity and representation within these fields.
